March 2nd is the birthday of Dr. Seuss, a writer and cartoonist who wrote over 60 delightful children's books. There are a few events in Orange County to celebrate the Cat in the Hat.

Change Has Come

I am hoping that I have time to take the boys to this book signing at A Whale of a Tale to celebrate inauguration day. Change Has Come: An Artist Celebrates Our American Spirit uses visual illustrations from the talented Artist , Kadir Nelson to document the historical election of Barack Obama. The book has inspiring quotes from Obama's speeches to link the reader to moments from history. The book signing starts at 2:30.
