Santa Ana Zoo Birthday

This weekend, Saturday March 7th & Sunday March 8th you will hear an all-too-familiar tune being sung at the Santa Ana Zoo... Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! You look like a monkey & you smell like one too!

That's right, this weekend, the zoo is celebrating it's 57th Birthday & YOU are invited to the party. As their website says "It'll be a whole weekend dedicated to partying like animals!"

The party will feature model trains by the Del Oro Pacific Modular Railway club, live entertainment, arts & crafts, music, games, animal presentations, train & carousel rides & of course - cake!

Holiday Lights at the Zoo.

This weekend, Friday, December 19th, Saturday, December 20th & Saturday, December 27th, from 5:30 pm - 8 pm, come rain or shine the Santa Ana Zoo "entrance and farm area will be transformed into a winter wonderland for the holidays."

There will be decorations, lighted displays, animal presentations, seasonal music, craft tables, & on the 19th and 20th Santa will be making a special appearance!

Boo at the Santa Ana Zoo

Starting this weekend, "Boo at the Zoo" comes back to the Santa Ana Zoo. According to their website "This family-friendly costumed extravaganza will bring FUN, SAFE, trick-or-treating in a "Merry not Scary" Zoo atmosphere, with educational programs throughout the evening, and a costume parade. For the older kids, we also offer "Teen Scream," a haunted house filled with thrills and chills. This ghoulish attraction has a separate entrance, but is included with the price of admission."

The night will be filled with live performances, animal presentations, storytelling, fun & games. Tickets are $5 for zoo members, and $10 for non-members (ages 2 & up). You can purchase tickets at the event or online HERE. For more information, go HERE or call (714)953-8555 ext. 12.

Last Chance!

This Sunday, July 20th is your last chance to experience "Sunsets at the Zoo". Bring a picnic dinner, a blanket & some lawn chairs for an evening filled with live music, coffee, dessert, train rides & animals.
