Flashlight Egg Hunts

I love the idea of a flashlight egg hunt, it adds a little more mystery to the traditional egg hunt. The great thing about a flashlight egg hunt is that you just need to wait until dark to have your egg hunt and have a flashlight. Some may also want to use glow in the dark paint on eggs to add to all the fun. You can have your own flashlight egg hunt this year, but there are also a few cities hosting flashlight egg hunts next week right here in the OC.

Flashlight Egg Hunt Bonita Creek Park

April 3, 2009 6-9pm

Bring your friends and family down for a hoppin’ good time as the Recreation & Senior Services Department presents the annual Spring Festival! As the lights dim, children will rummage through the field with their flashlights in search of the hidden eggs during one of the five age appropriate egg hunts. Once the designated egg hunt ends, children redeem their found eggs for a goody bag. Aside from the egg hunts, activities and events will include entertainment, bouncers, arts and crafts, carnival games, and a special visit from "Freckles the Bunny".
-All participants must bring their own flashlights and baskets.
-BBQ food, snacks and photos with the bunny will be for sale.
-All egg hunts will begin promptly.
