We love Disneyland, but the summer heat and long lines can test even the most faithful of Disney fans. Here are a few places at Disneyland to stay cool and make the most of a Disneyland trip this summer:
1) Tiki Room (and pick up a Dole Whip)
2) Pirates of the Carribean
3) Blue Bayou
4) Space Mountain
5) Splash Mountain

Tips for going to Disneyland with little boys
A few weeks ago we went to Disneyland with family and had 6 little boys under the age of 5! This kind of group dynamic does not lend itself to line waiting, so we had to come up with a more creative Disneyland Agenda. Try these spots to keep busy boys entertained at the happiest place on earth without having to endure long lines in the heat.
1. Goofy's Playhouse
2. Pirate's Lair on Tom Sawyer Island
3. Tarzan's Treehouse
4. Grab a fast pass for Buzz
5. Pirates of the Carribean (one of the fastest moving lines at Disneyland)
6. Jedi Training Academy
Starting June 12th make sure to see Fantasmic because Disney will be featuring a 45-foot-tall dragon. For dining with little boys my first pick would be the Celebration Round-Up at Big Thunder Ranch because bbq and cowboys means that they might sit still long enough to finish dinner. We had a great trip to Disneyland with our active bunch and hope you do too!

Baby Powder, it's not just for babies.
My two little boys love the sand. Whether we're looking for sand crabs at the beach or digging at the park, as long as the activity involves sand, they're in heaven. & although I love that they are enjoying themselves, I secretly wish they'd enjoy something that wasn't quite so... sandy, for lack of a better word. Do you know what I mean? No matter how much I wash their little hands & feet, it's no use - I just can't seem to win my battle against sand, it gets everywhere! That is, until I remembered a little trick of my mom's. Growing up, she always had a bottle of baby powder on hand. Perfect for spontaneous park outings & beach adventures. Sprinkle a little baby powder on sandy, wet skin. & viola! The sand will virtually fall off by itself. Baby powder is definitely going to become a staple in my beach/ park bag.
