One of my favorite Christmas traditions are hot fudge sundaes. I know, I know... not your typical Christmas tradition, but for as long as I can remember we have ended both Christmas Eve & Christmas Day with big 'ole bowls of ice cream (preferrably peppermint) & a large helping of hot fudge (although, some people seem to enjoy a bowl of hot fudge all on it's own, it's that yummy). So this year, my Christmas gift to you is the super secret hot fudge recipe...
Marilyn's Famous Hot Fudge
Ingredients:
3 sticks of butter
1 large can of carnation evaporated milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
12-14 tablespoons of cocoa
2 lb. bag of powder sugar
Directions:
Combine butter, milk & vanilla in a saucepan and cook on medium heat until butter is melted. Then add cocoa & sugar & mix. Once it is mixed well, pour it into a blender to mix out all the chunks.
enjoy!
