Soup's On: South OC
I love a yummy bowl of soup on a cold day and there are no shortages of my favorite spots to find a great bowl of soup in southern Orange County. Here are my four favorites:

i LOVE soups.
Avila's El Ranchito has a great chicken and rice soup... perfect for when you are not feeling good.
Boudin SF (at South Coast) also has some wonderful soups. They have a great Tomato Soup, & Wednesday they have Butternut Squash.
The restaurant on the Pacific Wharf at California Adventure has a yummy Red Corn Chowder.
Claimjumper has a great chicken tortilla & loader back potato soup
& Chili's has a yummy enchilada soup.
Panara Bread has great soups and in bread bowls if you want.
HOME... there is nothing like homemade soup... BUT ok... if I have to go out... I love take out Thai Won Ton soup... YUM... and I have to say... I like it at almost every Thai restaurant I go to. For quick take out soup... the soups at Vons/Pavilions markets are pretty good too.

Miso Ramen from Mentatsu next to Wahoo's South Coast Plaza will be your new favorite - avoid during lunch rush...
