post on Ruby's Diner... one of our favorite places for family dining. Bright & shiny red vinyl booths, white formica tables, soda fountains & 1940's decor - what's not to love? once i step inside i feel as though i've been transported to an era long ago, complete with an ice-cold cherry coke. my kids love the cardboard car menus that they can flip up & fold into perfect replicas of a '57 chevy. the menu has enough choices to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters (my personal favorites: the super burger & a black forest shake), & there's always enough going on inside to keep my little ones entertained. Although all the locations are great, our personal favorite is the one in Tustin... with a giant model train in the center of the restaurant, & two working train tracks hanging from the ceiling... my boys are in awe from the moment we walk in the door.
